He matriculated in 1987 and went on to study Accountancy at the University of the Witswaterand. .He obtained A BCOMM Accounting in 1990 .He obtained a BACC degree in 1991. .He went to do his articles of Clerkship at Nexia Levitt Kiron in 1992 and was assigned to the listed audit of Imperial holdings and attended to many of Imperial subsidiary and divisional audits. Robert passed the board exam in 1992 . He became an audit manager at Nexitt Levitt Kirson and later a partner in the firm . In March 2000 Robert opened up his own accounting and auditing practice R L Bloch and Company and has been in business for 20 years. Robert has over 20 years’ experience in the accounting , taxation and auditing , Robert specialises in advising net worth clients, and corporate clients and on the formation of trusts , estate planning , corporate restructuring, mergers and corporate finance matters. Robert is a member of SAICA (south African institute of chartered accounts) .Robert is a member of IRBA – auditors board . Robert is also a registered tax practioner . Robert is a trustee of various High net worth clients trusts and an executor of their personal estates.
